22x22mm Square Ribbed Tube Insert

These 22x22mm square ribbed tube inserts are designed to provide a clean, secure finish for square tube and box section. Thanks to the flexible lateral ribs running around the shank of the insert, they should be suitable for tube wall thickness of between 1 to 2mm metric (14-20 gauge imperial), unless otherwise stated. 

Manufactured from durable LDPE plastic, they are commonly used as protective end caps, tube feet, and finishing plugs across furniture, fabrication, and light industrial applications. They're designed to retain themselves inside tube, with the head sitting over the outer ends of the tube or box section, sitting flush with the outside edges of the tube, providing a neat finished appearance.

Performance -- unknown at this time! If the feet stay in place and do not wear excessively the score may well be higher! Church hall seating can get well used.

Contacted BPF re replacement feet for our Club's metal chairs. Had measured the feet so I had good idea of what I wanted ie 22mm sq and 25mm square inserts. Nonetheless I took advantage of BPF sample service and requested the 22 and 25mm inserts to check. The samples arrived very quickly and I was pleasantly surprised to find they had also included imperial equivalents as well. I then confirmed the sizing on site and duly ordered the products. They arrived very quickly and have been installed easily and to the benefit of the carpet!
