70x70mm Square Ribbed Tube Insert, 2-4mm

These 70x70mm square ribbed tube inserts are designed to provide a clean, secure finish for square tube and box section. Thanks to the flexible lateral ribs running around the shank of the insert, they should be suitable for tube wall thickness of between 2 to 4mm metric (8-14 gauge imperial), unless otherwise stated. 

Manufactured from durable LDPE plastic, they are commonly used as protective end caps, tube feet, and finishing plugs across furniture, fabrication, and light industrial applications. They're designed to retain themselves inside tube, with the head sitting over the outer ends of the tube or box section, sitting flush with the outside edges of the tube, providing a neat finished appearance.

Q: I need a 70mm square end cap but I have seen a lot do not have ribs in the corners. I need it to seal the pipe it is going into so I need ribs all the way around. Do you have any that would be suitable? if you have pictures of each 70mm one I would be able to tell if it is OK. Thanks

A: Hello. We have checked and these inserts do not have ribs in the corners, as you'll see in the gallery image. They are also not IP rated and so we cannot advise on suitability for sealing the pipe. Sorry we cannot help on this occasion. Kind regards, BPF
