3-Part Metal Drawbar Extension Spring | 195mm

Our Drawbar Springs , also commonly referred to as a Prison Springs, Safety Springs, Helical Extension Springs, Tension Springs or Compression Springs are designed to offer limited extension when in use and apply a load under tension. 

Primarily designed for prisons, as a means of suspending safety mesh between floors or landings but they also can be utilised in other applications such as marine, swimming pools, covers & tarps, fencing, gates and agricultural applicatons. 

We supply this item fully assembled, ready to go.

Widely used by contractors working for HM Prisons and the home office, for use in safety mesh mounting but this spring assembly design, with its limited extension, has many other uses, including fixing swimming pool covers and tethering sailing craft, allowing for tidal and swells.

• at 220 Pounds, it compresses to approximately 1 inch
