100x50mm Rectangular Ribbed Tube Insert, 2-4mm

These 100x50mm rectangular ribbed tube inserts are designed to provide a clean, secure finish for rectangular or oblong tube sections. Thanks to the flexible lateral ribs running around the shank of the insert, they should be suitable for tube wall thickness of between 2 to 4mm metric (8-14 gauge imperial), unless otherwise stated. 

Manufactured from durable LDPE plastic, they are commonly used as protective end caps, tube feet, and finishing plugs across furniture, fabrication, and light industrial applications. They're designed to retain themselves inside tube, with the head sitting over the outer ends of the tube or box section, sitting flush with the outside edges of the tube, providing a neat finished appearance.

Under normal circumstances when I order a small quantity of plastic parts from a plastic part supplier my emotional state is left more or less undisturbed. However on this occasion my equilibrium was shattered by the arrival of the most perfectly formed pieces of plastic, that fit into a hole (rectangular 100x50mm) that needed filling, that I have ever set eyes on. I ordered 8 although I only need 2 at the moment, the others are now safely ensconced in velvet lined (numbered) pouches which I wear round my neck at all times. When I sleep, perchance to dream, I arrange them in an arc around my pillow. Every night I consult a spreadsheet, of my own design, which determines the order in which I place them to ensure there is no hint of favouritism. Although I must admit a certain frisson passes through me when I see on my tablet that no. 5 is to be placed adjacent to my left ear. I could go on at some length but I feel a little faint and must go and lie down in a darkened room in order to regain a little composure to help me face the rigours of the day. Thank you thank you BPF you couldn't possibly imagine how the arrival of your products has transformed the life of a lowly electronics engineer who spends his days in a shed at the end of the garden, surrounded by computers, bits of wire and mounds of electronic junk.
