Ø80mm 'Hinged' Plastic Cable Port Desk Grommet

Quality Plastic Cable Ports designed to push fit into 80mm round holes in desks, tables, counter tops and work surfaces, with a top diameter of 88mm and with this being from our Modular Cable Port range, it has variable shank depths to cater for different material thicknesses.

The modular range was designed to give customers a range of options as the Cable Port Rings are universal meaning you can stock these and just interchange with a wide variety of different profile Cable Port Tops with all being available to buy separately, or in pre-assembled sets.

This particular Cable Port is a 2-Piece design with a hinged tongue that lifts up allowing for easy insertion and passaging of wires and cables.  Comes fully assembled ready to go and and whilst manufacturers will use CNC machines to router a hole for this, we do also supply a range of hole saws and arbors, if you're needing to cut your own holes.  

Seamlessly manage cables and wires, whilst also tidying up drilled or machined holes.

Q: I would like to know how the hinged unit operates? i.e. when open does it protrude upwards or fold inwards. The use is for cables to tills and chiller units on a catering counter top. The top must be left as flush as possible when not in use, to allow corporate caterers use. Thanks, Colin
