3/4 Inch Round Plain Sided Angled Tube Insert 16g (Extra Angle)

These 3/4 inch round ribbed tube inserts are designed to provide a clean, secure finish for hollow round tubes and pipes. The tops of the inserts are angled, so their primary purpose is for angled hollow tubular legs, to act as feet on producxts such as chairs, stools and tables.  Over the years, the most common use for these has been as feet for stackable polyproplene backed chairs in schools but they have many other applications.

The head diameter is designed to sit flush with the outside of the tube whilst the shank is barrel shape for a tight and secure fit to the inside of the tube. and there is also a stand off feature, designed to act as a spacer between the metal legs, to prevent damage and unnecessary noise.  This particular insert, is designed to fit a 16 gauge tube (2mm wall), although the shank is slightly barrel shaped, so you're welcome to utilise our free of charge sample service, to test it first.

Manufactured from durable polyethylene plastic, they are commonly used as protective end caps, tube feet, and finishing plugs across furniture, fabrication, and light industrial applications. They're designed to retain themselves inside tube, with the head sitting over the outer ends of the tube or pipe, sitting flush with the outside circumference of the tube and providing a neat finished appearance.
