60mm In Desk Power Grommet + USB 5V

This in desk grommet offers easy desk top access for both socket power and USB charging, all combined within a tidy, single unit.

Operating as a combined power & USB charging module, this unit is designed to fit into an industry standard Ø 60mm diameter hole, thus making it easy to fit, update or replace pre-existing grommets. It also provides easily accessible in-desk power and USB charging without the cable and wiring clutter; particularly suitable where work top space is limited or restricted to pre-cut Ø60mm grommet holes.

• 1 x USB (5v 2,1A)
• 1 x 2 Metre Mains Lead, fitted with 3-Pin Plug
• Fits standard Ø 60mm dia. hole

This in desk power grommet also features an easily adjustable screw collar which allows for it to be fitted and tightened into desks, table and worktops with thicknesses of up to 50mm.

Please note: this product has a 2mm protrusion from the surface and so does not naturally sit flush with the worktop. However, it can be flush fitted by making a double cut to the fitting surface.

A really simple no-nonsense product, great value compared to branded products. The 60mm diameter is unique and it is much more discrete then the 80mm alternatives.

Q: How many of the above can be plugged into a extension lead ( I have lockers to install which would require 1 socket per locker so i need to work out how many wall sockets i will need and extensions)

A: We've spoken with the factory in the far east that make this on our behalf and they've advised the following 'The amperage needs to be respected for which the advice of an electrician is recommended but in order for that to be determined, the unit itself with GB Sockets has the following spec : Max 3000W | AC 250V / 13A / 50Hz | USB: DC 5V / 2A, DC 9V / 1.2A / DC 12V / 1A', so hopefully that answers your question.

Q: Does this come with a flying lead and plug, or what is the electrical connection?

A: Hello. This module comes with a hardwired 2 metre mains lead, fitted with a UK 3-pin plug. I hope this assists. Kind regards, BPF
