60mm Pop Up Socket, 3 Gang with 2 USB

Great economical alternative to our Milan range of sockets, as like Milan - these units also sit comparatively flush and come as standard with USB fitted and an interchangeable Matt Chrome and Bright Chrome top, enabling you to be able to match your choice of fixtures and fittings.

Designed as a low cost alternative to our Milan range of sockets, these sockets are aimed at the price sensitive end of the market but still fit comparatively flush to your worktop and come with 2 different top cap finishes. Also comes fitted with a 1.5 Metre Mains Lead with a UK 3 Pin plug on the end.

This socket is a great solution if you want the flexibility to match different features around a kitchen or office! Perfect too for small spaces with it's compact design and will even retro-fit into existing 60mm diameter cable management holes.

We've retained some of the best selling features of our premium Milan range but by replacing much of the Metal Zamak Construction with reinforced plastic, we've managed to bring this into line with even the tightest budget restrictions!

Due to it's versatility and attractive price point, these units are perfect for bulk installations such as universities, kitchens, offices, labs or classrooms. Simply pops up ready for use when the top is depressed and it's got USB as standard.

We recommend you get a professional to install this unit, or at least drill a test template hole first! Suits an industry standard hole size, so is ideal for replacing a standard grommet, which are commonly designed for the same size hole.

Great piece of gear. Works well feels robust. Impressed as it is only 60mm much smaller than most others and still has USBs that others lack. BPF service and couriers absolutely A1 with constant notifications.

Q: Are the two caps supplied with the 60mm pop up socket socket metal or plastic? Are there any discounts on the Milan range, 3 plug with USB and LED? Many thans

A: I've just physically checked one of these units in a box and the cap that's fitted and the alternate finish cap that's loose in the box, are both made from a thin metal, almost like tin - so when fitted, they are a metal appearance and feel.

Q: Hi we are looking at using this in an upside down instillation , so my question is that will the unit fall down or will it be able to stay closed when closed if so , this would be installed into a motor home , so while on the road do you also think it will stay in a closed position

A: We've just physically had a play around with one of these units and personally I wouldn't suggest it's suitable for use in the inverted position. I tried holding it upside down and although it didn't drop down, with only the slightest jolt - it dropped straight down. So on that basis, I'd be inclined to steer you towards the Milan units, or possibly Cube - although either unit would take up more space in the cabinet than the 60mm option you asked the FAQ on.
