A Nylon 6 Insulation Bush (often referred to as a screw insulator, shoulder washer or plastic insulation ring) is a component designed primarily for insulating components (such as metal screws) to prevent heat transfer.
This Insulation Bush is manufactured from natural Polyamide (Nylon 6) which allows the bush to withstand excessive movement and vibration while maintaining a high thermostability. The Nylon material is also non-conductive and so is suitable for cables and wiring to pass though.
