45-36mm Pool & Tube Expansion Sealing Plug

We supply a range of Expansion Plugs, also referred to as Winter Plugs, Rubber Sealant Caps, Expansion Bungs & Wintering Plugs designed for Tubes and Pipes, which are tapered to cover a range of sizes.  The Moulding is of a Rubber Composition and expands from the Core when the Supplied Thumbscrew is turned.  

Designed primarily for the swimming pool industry, these expansion plugs are generally used as Winter approaches to protect from harsh weather and stain damage. The tapered Rubber plugs, can also be used to block or seal holes, pipes, drains, sinks, tanks, etc. in a variety of applications including pool, kitchen, bathroom, garden or commerical uses.

Used as pipe plugs, to plug skimmers, returns and cleaner lines - to prevent water from entering the pipes during Winter.  Expansion plugs have other uses too, such as pressure testing pool lines or other methods of leak detection, or stopping water flow from the pool when equipment repairs are made.

Material: Rubber + Stainless Steel

We show standard colours & finishes where possible but these are constantly changing so if you require a colour not listed in the drop-down, speak to us as we may well have added it since.

Q: Hi, I have recently bought some of these from you (excellent service, thank you). However, I wish to replace the wing nuts with a conventional hex nut, so was wondering if you could tell me what the thread size is please? It looks like it is deeper than standard metric threads, as I have tried them, and the threads are too shallow. Thank you, Regards, Daryl
