1800w x 800d + 800w x 600d Return, 1-Pc Wooden Top, 25mm Thick

1800mm wide x 800mm deep with 800mm wide x 600mm deep return, quality 25mm thick MFC top (Melamine Faced Chipboard) with 2mm thick ABS (Acrylnitril Butadien Styrol) Edging and 2mm Radius all round.

This 1-Piece Wood Top is designed for a standard 800 x 1800mm Desk Frame, with an 800mm Extension kit fitted, provided you with an L Shaped Return, totalling 1600mm. Whilst the depth of the front facing working area is a standard 800mm to match the frame, we make the depth of the return on this top just 600mm, leaving more room for the operator.

You can reduce the cost of this top by having it as a 2-Piece top, so that would be 1 Top at 800x1800mm with an additional top at 600x800mm.  Depending on how good your floor is, you might find you need to fit some connection plates to the underside of the top, to keep it true.

Primarily designed for use with our K / X Series Desk Frames, these tops will generally come untemplated as standard, meaning you can use these with other table frames/bases. If you're buying a frame off us at the same time, the top will be templated to suit so it will have fixing holes, so you can easily assemble with the frame. However, if you're not buying one of our frames, then we regret that we can't offer you the templating service, as this is purely for customers buying our frames/desks.

So just to clarify, this will give you an extra 600x800mm workspace in addition to the 800x1800mm standard desk footprint. If you're buying 1 of our desk frames to go with this top, then we offer the templating service where we will supply the top with pre-installed metal inserts, enabling secure fixation to the frame. You'll just need to let us know if you're intending using this desk in a Left Hand or Right Hand configuration - CAN YOU ADVISE THIS IN THE SPECIAL NOTES / COMMENTS SECTION PLEASE?

We also offer customers buying the whole desk or table from us (frame + top), the option to have cable management holes cut. All we ask is that you advise us at the time of order and email us a drawing with desired location - the actual location may vary slightly, if for instance the hole interferes with fixing plates, or structural beams.

It's for these reasons above that we generally prefer to make tops to order but from time to time we do have tops listed as being in stock but please be aware that these are likely to have fixing holes on the underside, as they've usually been made to suit one or more of our frames.  They're still brand new but you need to be aware that if you're fixing to your own desk frame, there's likely to be redundant holes visible, obviously only from the underside!

If you have ordered a stock top but specifically want this with NO HOLES, then please let us know via the Spencial Notes / Comments section as you go through the order process and we will ignore the stock status at time of order and have it made to order for you at the mill, or we can physically check the stock top for you, to let you know the situation regarding holes.

As with all our tops, we cost them up to cover secure pallet shipping but we are happy to pass on the freight saving to you, if you prefer to collect from our Banbury showroom.
