The X3 EVO 2 Piece Inverted Legs (600mm) are designed for use as internal support legs within the X3 modular back-to-back bench desking system. Supplied as a pair of commercial-grade steel legs, they provide one internal support position while maximising legroom and chair clearance, making them ideal for collaborative office environments, call centres and large-scale workplace fit-outs.

Part of the latest X3 EVO desking system, these inverted legs have been redesigned to improve installation, enhance cable management and comply with the latest BS EN 527-1:2011 workplace height recommendations. The modular two-piece construction allows you to create flexible workstation layouts that can be expanded or reconfigured as your office grows. Unlike standard desk legs, the inverted design positions the supporting structure away from the seated user, creating a more comfortable workspace with improved access beneath the desk for chairs, cable trays, power modules and IT infrastructure.

The latest EVO design introduces a compact top fixing that replaces the previous steel mounting plate. This creates significantly more usable space beneath the desktop while reducing assembly time with a simplified single-fix installation. The updated leg also features a slimmer support beam and discreet black levelling feet for a cleaner, more contemporary appearance.

If you're extending an existing X3 installation, we still supply the original 695mm leg, making it easy to match previous project phases.

Updated Working Height

The EVO leg measures 722mm beneath the desktop, allowing finished desk heights between approximately 720mm and 760mm, helping comply with BS EN 527-1:2011.

Slimmer Beam Design

The support beam has been reduced from 60 × 15mm to 45 × 15mm, maintaining excellent structural performance while reducing weight and improving manufacturing efficiency.

Important Installation Information

When purchasing desktops from BPF, please note that the X3/K3 standard drilling template is not compatible with the X3 EVO Inverted Desk Leg.

• Wood screw fixing is recommended as standard.
• If you require threaded metal insert nuts, we can modify the drilling pattern during manufacture.
• The fixing holes must be repositioned by 64mm to suit the shallower inverted leg profile.
• Please let us know when placing your order so we can manufacture your desktop accordingly.
