Slim Magnetic Touch Latch | Extendable | Round Pin

This magnetic touch latch uses a spring-loaded mechanism to allow for cupboard and cabinet doors to be opened and closed with a simple push; subsequently eliminating the need for handles or doorknobs.

Once the magnetic door catch has been fitted; to open the cabinet door, simply press the outside of the door panel (this will push the magnetic cylinder in and then release the magnetic catch). The cylinder will then pop out, subsequently pushing the door open a short way and enabling the user to then open the door fully.

To close and re-engage the latch, simply push door up and then press the outside of the door panel (subsequently pressing the cylinder back in) which will then stay in a closed position.

One of the innovative design features that separates this model from the rest of our magnetic touch latches is that the pin/cylinder is extendable, increasing by either 20mm or 40mm in length (please see technical data). This extension is determined by adjusting a small “switch tap” which is located underneath the latch.

This magnetic touch latch is also provided with a (optional) small white plastic bushing, which can be used when fastening the self-adhesive striker with the small wood screw. To make sure that the screw is not extracted from the wood, consider mounting the small plastic bushing first, before mounting the small wood screw into the bushing.

The comprehensive yet discreet design of this magnetic touch latch makes it suitable for a wide range of applications including cabinets, cupboards, wardrobes, and lightweight internal doors.
