Ø42mm Utility Adjustable Threaded Feet, M10x140mm

These height adjustable feet were originally designed for shower trays, baths and jacuzzi's but aren't limited to a specific use, hence we call them Utility Adjusters.  They all come with a 42mm diameter base but unlike the rest of our adjustable feet and glides range, these are listed by their overall height rather than the useable thread length.

Unlike most of the adjustable feet we sell which are 'insert moulded' which means the base is injection moulded around the screw, these glides are essentially a 2 part assembly as a pre-cut all thread stud is factory fitted into the plastic base.  This has the advantage that you can achieve any desired height meaning that if you don't find the size foot you need, then you can make your own assembly using these M8, M10 or M12 Plastic Base Sockets in conjunction with these Pre-Cut All Threads.

42mm diameter adjustable feet are one of many foot options we have available, with an M10x117mm 'useable' Thread and as with all our M10 feet, they will have a standard 1.5mm pitch.  They're designed to screw into furniture and framework, to give you a level of height adjustment, which will be variable depending on what thread length you go for. 

If you're intending on using these in hollow tube, pipe or box section then you will want a threaded tube insert or if you're intending on using these underneath wooden frames or carcasses, then you'll want a T-Nut or a D-Nut.

If you're looking to something more heavy duty, if for instance you're intending using them under heavy machinery or conveyor systems, then you might be better off with one of our load rated feet, which also come with Stainless Threaded options.

Q: What is the material of the base of these. Secondly as a general question which plastic is the stronger and more robust out of PC, PP, ABS, Nylon?

A: The bases on these utility adjusters are made from virgin PolyProplene Co Polymer (PPCP). I couldn't advise on the other materials I'm afraid, as a couple of them we don't even mould. BPF WebSales
