250x57mm Oval Metal Cable Grommet

As standard this is a two-tone design with a Stainless Steel effect lid and a black plastic surround, but the plastic surround can also be moulded in other colours to order, such as Silver/Aluminium.

I bought two of these for study worktop. Firstly the "watchoutfors".
1. The frame is made from flexible plastic.
2. The brushed stainless covers slide in runners in the frame, but the slightest pressure on the plastic frame causes the sliders to stick,
4. The plastic lip around the frame, covering the worktop is only about 2mm.

Therefore please be aware that your cut-out and profiling must be spot on to ensure a good fit in the worktop, whilst allowing the sliders to operate. I found that leaving both sliders slightly open made their use easy. I also resorted to filing a profile in the end of each slider big enough to accommodate one cable made the units look better if there are permanent cables through the grommet.
The finished result is excellent, but the product quality is lacking. Take your time with the profiling!
