1 1/8" Round M8 Insert, 16-18g - Single Nut Recess

These Nut Inserts are a handy component designed to knock into the ends of Tube as an End Cap but also doubles as a means of offering adjustment on Parallel Tubes.  Once a hole is punched in the Tube, you can insert these Plugs and use a Foot or Castor to raise the Framework off the floor.  There's a choice of Profiles and Designs, each with a cavity to take a standard Nut, and in some cases there's two recesses for a Nut which gives you a little more flexibility as to where you want the Foot or Castor situated. 

As with all our inserts, they're listed just as you would buy the tube so it's Outside Dimensions x Wall Thickness / Gauge Size - or if you're trying to match up to a sample, the key dimension is the head size. The head is designed to sit flush with the outside of the tube whilst the shank has straight sides for an interference fit in both metric and imperial sizes.
