We have a huge range of Desks and Wooden Tops but sell them separately because a lot of our trade customers are Office Furniture manufacturers and Fit Out companies, who have their own Tops lined up.  If you need a Top for this Desk, then buying from us would mean we'll template it specifically to suit your desk so you'll have proper fixing holes and metal insert nuts, which will result in hassle free assembly!

This height adjustable desk frame has an ergonomic design that allows users to alternate between sitting and standing; allowing users to find their optimal height with a simple lever adjustment.

The gas spring assisted mechanism offers a smooth and effortless pneumatic height adjustment from 722 - 1132mm and has a lifting power of 15kg (assuming top weight 17kg); the actual total lifting power of the gas spring is 32kg.

Stabilising Bar/Panel

Due to the design of height adjustable desks, they tend not to be as stable as commercial office desks. Consequently, stability has been factored into the design of this height-adjustable desk frame; the frame is made from heavy-duty steel and supplied with a stabilising panel which fixes across the back of the legs.

Height Adjustment Lever

The height adjustment is operated by lifting the lever up (toward the desktop). The lever is connected to the gas springs via a brake cable, which can be tightened or loosened.

It is recommended that you take a short break from sitting every 30 to 60 minutes, as sitting in the same position for hours at a time can be bad for your neck and back.

Sit stand desks, however, allow you to vary your posture throughout the day and alternate between sitting and standing, which can help to prevent and alleviate neck and lower back pain.

Customise with your own worktop

The height adjustable desk frame measures 1050 x 450 x (722-1132)mm. However, this listing is for the frame only and does not include the top. 

All you need to do is add a top of your choice with a width of 1100 - 1400mm and depth of 500 - 800mm. Alternatively, for home working use you can opt for a small (1200 × 675 scalloped) top or medium (1400 × 800 rectangular) top.
