Ø80mm 'Slotted' Desk Grommet | 4 Port USB 2.0 Insert

Butterfly Cable Port Desk Grommet, designed to fit into an industry standard 80mm diameter hole but with the additional feature, of a USB hub containing four USB 2.0 ports powered from a single connection to your computer.  It offers a convenient way to add USB connectivity to office desks, workstations and other furniture without taking up valuable desktop space. 

With data transfer speeds of up to 480 Mbps, the USB 2.0 hub is suitable for connecting peripherals such as keyboards, mice, USB drives, printers and other compatible devices. Its plug-and-play operation means no additional drivers are required, while hot-swapping allows compatible USB devices to be connected and disconnected without restarting the computer.

The hub features built-in over-current protection to help protect both the hub and connected equipment. Supplied with a 1.5 metre USB connection cable, two brushes and a user manual, it provides a straightforward and professional connectivity solution for commercial office furniture, desk manufacturers, installers and workplace fit-outs. Installation & Use

The USB hub is designed to fit directly into compatible Butterfly and Slotted Square Cable grommets. Simply connect the supplied USB cable between the hub and an available USB port on your computer. USB peripherals can then be connected to any of the four available hub ports. When disconnecting a device, stop any active data transfer and safely eject the device from your computer where applicable.

Care & Use

For reliable long-term operation, keep the USB hub away from excessive impact, direct sunlight, high temperatures and damp or humid environments. Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse or exposure to extreme conditions may not be covered.
