Plastic 19x16mm Concrete M8 Taper Washer

Taper Washers are generally used to secure slanting surfaces to the upright, using nuts & bolts. 

Technical details:

• Height slope: From 10mm to 3mm
• Overall width: 16mm
• Material: Polypropylene
• Colour: Black

Concrete is used everywhere in the construction industry. Among our many products used in the concrete industry, our M8 tapered washers are one of our most popular. Their tapered design allows for a more precise fit between two angular planes, ensuring proper load distribution and alignment, which is crucial for the stability and integrity of structures. Like all of our products in our concrete range, the washers are made from 100% recycled polypropylene. Details for measurements can be seen on the 3D CAD model and technical drawing. 

We show standard colours and finishes where possible but these are constantly changing so if you require a colour not listed in the drop-down, speak to us as we may well have added it since.

Our garage was never assembled with these so all the bolts were bent and not holding very well.

We moved it and used these on reassembly. So much easier and all the bolts now pull towards each other. Would recommend these.

I used the taper washers on a concrete sectional motorcycle store. I measured the draft/mould release angle of the concrete sections as 16 deg and the plastics taper washers as 20 deg. Not an ideal fit but infinitely better than using steel washers without any taper.

Appreciate your comments and I don't know if you noticed but the pack options we display within the price matrix tables, are only our suggested options because this is what we have pre-packed in the warehouse.

If it's a stock item as this one was, then you can ignore the pack options we list if you want and free type however many pieces you actually needed into the add to cart box.

I just checked and there is some wording at the top of the table to that effect : 'Pack sizes below are optional on stock items, which you can order in any quantity'

Glad they worked for you anyway and feel free to order however many pieces you need, if you find the need to re-order.

At first sight I was expecting something bigger, (didn't read the description properly), but these really did the job on my Compton, bolts were removed, straightened, and reassembled (one at a time). I attached some brackets with batterns and shelves. The package fitted through the letter box also (so no running of down to PO to collect) all in all they're excellent, would recommend them to anyone out there.

A: Sorry for the delay but we had to get the tooling checked for this but I'm afraid the outcome is that it's only been made with M8 Pins. We could get a modification done and create a spare set of pins to suit M10 but this would incur a tool mod charge and a minimum order quantity of at least 5,000 pieces (at a guess) would apply. Q: This looks like just what I need for a concrete garage project. Not sure I understand the geometry from the picture though. Photo looks like a smooth taper but picture suggests taper is not across whole length of part. Need to work out taper angle to determine whether this will suit my application.
